About us

Non-profit organisation Ekoport was founded in 2004 in order to actively contribute to environmental education and raising public awareness within sustainable life style and related legal issues.

Ekoport is currently focused on international cooperation, renewable energy sources, eco-innovations, waste management and ecological certification (LCA/EPD). Among current activities belong the issue of building energy efficiency and performance in terms of evaluation, environmental certfication and education.

Key partners of Ekoport are e.g., South Bohemian Innovation Agency for support to Innovative Entrepreneurship, Czech Biogas Association, ConPlusUltra GmbH, etc.

Ekoport is currently involved in implementation of several international projects such as RECOMMEND (INTERREG IVC), Green Jobs (ETC Austria - Czech Republic 2007 - 2013) and Build the Future (CIP).
